What are the traditional uses and display options for a Limoges porcelain trinket box?

Limoges porcelain trinket boxes are traditionally designed to hold fine jewelry, rings, earrings, and small heirloom keepsakes. Due to their ornate Fragonard courting scenes and 22k gold leaf accents, they are also widely displayed as decorative accents on vanity dressers, bedside tables, or inside curio cabinets.
